PROFILE OF EPS-MEDITERRANEO

EPS-Mediterraneo, located in Málaga, is an experienced Spanish company and an authorized partner of the new Lifelong Learning Project (2007 – 2013) of the European Union that comprises the programs: Comenius, Erasmus, Leonardo da Vinci and Grundtvig. We are performing the planning and management of European Projects in many fields of activity

We are interested in becoming partner with other European organisations or public institutions, dealing with mobility and multilateral projects (former Leonardo da Vinci pilot projects) of the Lifelong Learning Program.

GENERAL SERVICE OF EPS-MEDITERRANEO

EPS-Mediterraneo is a sending and receiving organisation.

As receiving Organisation, we are organising work placements, language courses, accommodation, professional seminars, exchange projects and socio-cultural programs in Malaga.

As a sending organisation, we are promoting our own created projects and send those to receiving organisations in other European countries.

SERVICE IN DETAIL

Work Placements / Internships in Spain

EPS-Mediterraneo is looking for internships according to the personal requirements of each participant, depending on their field of study, their previous labour experience and their knowledge of the language. Other fields of work are available on demand.

SPANISH LANGUAGE COURSE - COURSE OF SPANISH IN SPAIN - MALAGA

In our own Language School we offer many different types of courses, according to the personal prior knowledge of Spanish Language. The participants are taught by very helpful Spanish native teachers specialised and experienced in teaching foreign students.

Education approach

Our progressive education approach is according to the newest European framework requirements for the teachings of foreign languages. We believe that to learn a language it is also important to get to know the corresponding culture. Therefore we regard ourselves as a centre for cultural exchange where the teachers provide a helping hand instead of deciding for the students in the learning process.

The students learn actively the four functions of language: understanding, speaking, reading and writing.

Teaching material

We use different kind of media in class: Books, cassettes, CDs, DVDs, films, music, newspapers etc.

SUPPORT AND SERVICE

During the whole stay the participant is supported by a co-ordinator of EPS-Mediterráneo as well as by one mentor of the particular company. If there are any questions or problems EPS-Mediterráneo will always provide assistance.

EXTRACURRICULAR AND CULTURAL ACTIVITIES

Besides the realization of the internship we also offer plenty of cultural activities:

Visits of museums, monuments and of the botanic garden of Málaga…

Excursions to Granada, Sevilla, Córdoba, Gibraltar, Morocco…

International evenings (cooking with other participants)

Andalusian dinner (and tapas)

Flamenco

Cookery course 

ACCOMODATION

The participants are accommodated in fully equipped shared apartments together with other students. The apartments as well as most of the work placements are close to the city centre of Málaga.

CERTIFICATION

At the end of the stay the student receives a certificate by EPS – Mediterráneo for both the language course and the internship
